Board of Assessors approves exemptions and financial reports

West Newbury Board of Assessors approves routine financial business unanimously. Chair William Studzinski, alongside members Scott Goldthwaite and Richard Baker, voted 3-0 to approve exemption applications, financial reports, and payment-in-lieu-of-taxes bills. The board approved PILOT bills totaling $14,635.90 from Newburyport Water, West Newbury Housing Authority, and Solar providers, along with a real estate exemption report for December of $23,568.33.
Assessors also approved tax exemptions for five properties under community preservation and veteran exemption programs.
