WEST NEWBURY — Board of Water Commissioners approves $1.19 million budget with 3.8 percent insurance increase. The board voted unanimously on March 24 to approve a $2,925 increase to the insurance line item and finalize the FY2027 budget of $1,194,975.00, reflecting a 3.8 percent jump in health insurance rates. John Haley made the motion, with Mark Hemingway seconding.

The board reviewed revised Tighe & Bond engineering proposals related to rate study and master plan review, finding no changes to proposed costs and requiring no new votes.
