Council on Aging advances three finalists in director search

WEST NEWBURY — Council on Aging advances finalists for director post; chair resigns. Three candidates from a field of 26 applications have advanced to final interviews for the Council on Aging director position, with Town Manager Angus Jennings noting that finalists will tour the SAGE Center and meet with board members and current Director Christine Marshall. Chair Vicky Beaumier announced her immediate resignation due to a move to Merrimac, creating two open positions.
Director Marshall will retire April 30. All financial reports for January and February were approved unanimously, with accounts remaining on track and under budget.
