West Newbury Cultural Council clarifies grant rules, launches logo contest. Chair Yetti Frenkel led unanimous approval of revised guidelines requiring grant applicants to provide a letter of support from their proposed venue. The council also approved a logo design competition for students in grades 9-12, with an April 1, 2026 deadline and promotion through the library, high school art department, and Facebook.
A community survey to assess resident priorities for future events, using QR codes and paper responses collected at community venues, also won unanimous approval.
