WEST NEWBURY — Energy and Sustainability Committee approves final EV charging signage recommendations for Pipestave Hill. Chair Arthur (Chip) Wallace will submit to the Town Manager and Select Board a proposal for two signs in the upper lot and one in the lower lot. Member Richard Parker asked whether the town should immediately stop buying natural gas-powered equipment under its decarbonization plan and has requested a Select Board discussion; his associate offers heat pump expertise.

The committee also directed Mr. Wallace to contact the Town Manager about municipal solid waste and recycling data collection and to pursue Mass Save contractor services for Public Safety Building insulation improvements.
