WEST NEWBURY — Finance Committee holds joint planning session on spring Town Meeting logistics. Chair Dennis LaMalfa and Select Board Chair Wendy Reed convened the Finance Committee, Select Board, and town officers on April 16 to review draft motions and arrange logistics for the April 27 annual meeting in the Town Annex. Town Manager Angus Jennings reported that fire damage to Pentucket Middle/High School's auditorium required replacement of smoke detectors, upholstered chairs, and fabrics, making the auditorium unavailable for the meeting.
The group assigned motion readers, finalized table layouts, and confirmed that Finance Committee members will present rationales to provide voters with additional information.
