WEST NEWBURY — Select Board unanimously appoints Reed to Agricultural Committee designee role. The three-member board, meeting with Wendy Reed and Christopher Wile (Barry Fogel absent), also unanimously authorized submission of a MIIA Wellness Grant application and declared a damaged piano in the Town Annex surplus for disposal. The Board deferred action on proposed changes to retiree health insurance contribution rates and directed Town Manager Angus Jennings to seek quotes for Public Safety roof replacement using asphalt shingles, with a revised warrant article planned for Special Town Meeting at lower cost than the originally approved metal installation.
