WEST NEWBURY — Select Board approves EV signage, knotweed treatment, and dock project acceleration. Wendy Reed and Christopher Wile unanimously authorized three 12-by-18-inch signs at Pipestave, moved the Mill Pond dock to immediate workplan status pending Conservation Commission confirmation, and cleared Highway Superintendent Butch Hills to contract for knotweed removal at two Mill Pond locations. Town Manager Angus Jennings received authorization to use up to 15 vacation days through July 31 prior to his resignation.
The Board also approved a policy banning anticoagulant rodenticides on town property and cleared two special events: Myopia Hunt Club on May 5 and New England Equine Rescue on May 16, excluding Sawmill Brook land pending Conservation Commission approval.
