West Newbury recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only four listed a disclosed sale price: $850,000 to $1,300,000, with a median of $1,000,000. The month's top transaction was 12 Steed Ave., which sold for $1,300,000. The other eight deeds, including two each on Crane Neck Street and Main Street, involved owners transferring property to themselves, a trustee, or a family trust, with no price disclosed. The data shows a period marked more by internal family and trust transfers than by open-market activity between unrelated buyers and sellers.
