West Newbury sees 10 deed transfers in past month, five with prices ranging to $1.8 million
West Newbury recorded 10 property deed transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, five with disclosed sale prices ranging from $460,000 to $1,800,000 and a median of $850,000. The month's top sale was 15 River Meadow Dr., Lot 60D, at $1,800,000. Crane Neck Street and River Meadow Drive each saw two transfers. Half of all recorded transfers, none with disclosed prices, involved a grantor and grantee sharing a last name, a pattern consistent with family or trust transfers. Deed records provided no property-type or square-footage data, limiting further analysis of this period's market tone.
