Whittier Tech Committee Advances Regional Agreement Draft with NECC Placeholder

WEST NEWBURY — Whittier Regional Agreement Amendment Committee votes to incorporate Northern Essex Community College into working draft. The committee voted unanimously to add NECC placeholder language and postponed its May 6 meeting to May 20 to allow additional time for member review and input. Superintendent Maureen Lynch reported Whittier Tech is at full capacity and will enter MSBA feasibility on June 24, 2026.
Committee Chair Angus Jennings announced he has signed a contract as the school's new business manager, effective early August, and will remain West Newbury's RAAC representative through mid-July.
