West Newbury Board of Registrars completes state primary ballot testing. Town Clerk Amanda Haggstrom and Board members Leisa Mingo, Mary Moody, and Janet Schuchter tested both the primary and spare tabulators, processing 50 Republican and 50 Democratic test ballots through both machines and confirming results matched hand-counted totals. Tabulators were zeroed in preparation for Election Day.
Board members expressed interest in assuming expanded election-related duties, including the certification of signatures.
