Town Governance Committee endorses restructuring recommendations

West Newbury Governance Committee advances organizational restructuring plan, approving Assistant Town Manager position. Chair Wendy Reed said Community Paradigm Associates did not address Water Department management or library staffing, noting she would seek additional vendor recommendations. The Committee will present recommendations to the Select Board and seek public input.
A town manager search remains open with applications closing mid-September; finalists will be selected by the Committee and forwarded to the Select Board.
