West Newbury Agricultural Committee approves prior meeting minutes, endorses library scavenger hunt. Chair Richard Baker, Vice Chair John Adams, Clerk Chris Grant, Member Lydia Sisson, and Select Board Representative Wendy Reed approved the March and April minutes unanimously. Kelly Scott presented the Library Scavenger Hunt, a summer community activity through which the committee will contact local farms to confirm participation.
The committee conducted a site visit to the field at Middle and Indian Hill Road to assess suitability for agricultural practices; four additional planned property visits were bypassed. The next meeting is July 1, 2026 at 4 p.m.
