Board approves prior minutes and schedules rate hearing preparation.
Board of Water Commissioners · Meeting of June 11, 2026
WEST NEWBURY — Water Commissioners approved rate-hearing preparations and a $170 Zoom account fee. Chair Robert Janes and member John Haley, with Superintendent Mark Marlowe present, unanimously backed the dedicated remote-meeting platform for fiscal 2027. The board scheduled a public hearing on proposed water rates for June 15th, with Janes reading the required legal notice and Haley presenting rate-study slides.
An abatement application from 6 Pleasant Street was tabled pending three weeks of meter-accuracy testing; the board deferred an Administrative Assistant pay-adjustment request until completion of the town's organizational study.
