The G.A.R Memorial Library announced three events for October.
An introduction to line dancing runs Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. Kathy Spironis leads the session, which the library says is funded by the Friends of the West Newbury Library.
A family Legos event takes place Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. The library provides the Legos, and creations will be displayed until the next Lego day. No registration is required.
An introduction to AI assistants is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 6 p.m. Retired IT professional Jean Costello will lead the session, described in the announcement as a look at what AI assistants are, how they work, and how to use them safely and responsibly. The library says attendees will explore a few free, privacy-focused AI assistants and how to write prompts. RSVP is required for this event.
