West Newbury Deed Filings Show Home Prices Clustering Near $1 Million
West Newbury recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Three carry a sale price so far, ranging from $975,000 to $1,150,000, with a median of $1,025,000; the other nine have not yet posted a price in registry data. The period's top recorded sale was a $1,150,000 condominium transfer at 24 Moody Lane, Unit 24ML, on Sept. 15. Main Street saw three separate transfers, more than any other street. Ten of the 12 deeds involved a grantor and grantee sharing a surname or an owner transferring into their own trust, a pattern that dominated the period's recorded activity.
